Wedding show and/or Zeffa
Bring the elegance of Egyptian traditions to your wedding reception! You are unique and so is your special day. Raena will work with you, in depth, to create a special performance that will create lasting memories for all.
Did you know? A Zeffa is a traditional Egyptian way to present the bride and groom to the guests. Special music is played while the belly dancer, often wearing a shamadan (see photo to right), leads the bridal party into the reception hall in front of all of the guests. The wedding party makes a festive parade around the room until the bride and groom are led to their places of honor. What a way to make a grand entrance! Live drummers and multiple dancers are often used to make an even grander spectacle - ask about the availability of drummers and additional dancers!
Note: A wedding is a very personal, special day for the bride and groom. If you want to hire a bellydancer as a surprise for the happy couple, use your best judgement as to whether they would enjoy this addition.
